ARMENIA, Cilician Armenia. Royal. Levon II, 1270-1289. Tram (Silver, 22 mm, 3.03 g, 2 h), pre-coronation type. 'Levon King of the Armenians' (in Armenian) Queen Zabel and king Hetoum I standing facing, both crowned and holding long cross between them; above their heads, two pellets. Rev. ✠ 'by the Will of God' (in Armenian) Crowned lion advancing right, head facing and with raised left paw. AC 368. CCA 1425. Rare and lightly toned. A few light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
